“For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist.”Luke 21:15

Consider for a moment the emotional and psychological effect of a communicated expression that leaves you speechless.

You are thrust into a stammering state.

That state is called Awe.

Of the many states of being, Awe takes our breath away. It is as though we inhale and the breath becomes suspended while the mind searches to comprehend a bountiful experience.

It is a language that speaks directly to the central core of our being.

It travels faster than the ordinary thought process—as a Truth that we cannot resist.

And Awe is the response.

Every other emotion seems to work with the respiratory function of the body by altering the rhythm of our breathing, producing a bodily experience.

But Awe is different.

Awe is the breathless emotion spoken by a sophisticated Language.

Awe is an eternal emotion of the Spirit in response to the incomprehensible, unsearchable, fearsome, humbling manifestation of God—the Ultimate Reality.

The Creator is Whole.

His Language is Whole.

And by Whole I mean that everything is included.

Every beginning. Every end. Every first. Every last. Every experience. Every phenomenon.

All are included within an Infinite Vocabulary.

That Infinite Vocabulary is called the Word of God.

“And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, and we beheld his glory… full of grace and truth.”John 1:14

Eternity entered the flesh.

An Immortal made visible through Pure Language.

John 1:10 tells us that He was in the world, the world was made by Him, and yet the world did not know Him.

Earth-minded men, whose souls were contaminated by bodily appetites, could not comprehend the magnitude of uncontaminated Truth.

“The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.”1 Corinthians 15:45

Christ, the last Adam, completed the work of the Father.

His last words upon the cross were: “It is finished.”

What did He mean?

What was finished?

First Corinthians 2:7–9 speaks of the wisdom of God in a mystery—a hidden wisdom ordained before the world for our glory.

The rulers of this world did not understand it. Had they understood, they would not have crucified the Lord of Glory.

“Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.”1 Corinthians 2:9

The Ultimate Reality, from the beginning, made provision for the mortal to inherit Immortality.

For the natural body to inherit the spiritual body.

For the corruptible to inherit incorruption.

All the completeness of the Father was expressed in an earthly manifestation.

A body prepared to house the Spirit—the Breath of Life—without measure.

Before Christ, men received measured portions of this Eternal Power.

But in Christ there was no limit to the command of Language operating beyond the boundaries of human knowledge.

A Language Nature Cannot Resist

“And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.”Mark 4:39

Awe was the response of those who witnessed this event.

They asked: “What manner of man is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?”

The answer is: A Life-Giving Spirit.

He spoke to the source of activity and commanded it to cease.

His Language was so True and so Pure that even nature could not gainsay or resist.

Pure Language, expressed through an earthly body, carried information directly into the created order.

All things are held together by the Word of God.

Everything has its own vibration, its own movement, its own signature.

This brings me again to the thought that Sound is the DNA of created things.

And once the Word is unleashed, Change is bound to occur.

Among All the Voices

“My sheep hear my voice… and a stranger they will not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers.”John 10:5

The question then becomes: How is His voice distinguished among all the noise of this world?

There are so many voices bombarding our Consciousness.

The voice of culture. The voice of work and livelihood. The voice of family. The voice of religion. The voice of friends. The voice of society.

And the list goes on.

We are born into a fragmented and confused world, shocked by the constant solicitation for our attention.

And so the race for significance and identity begins almost from the moment we are born.

The quest for discovery begins.

Who are we?

Why are we here?

What is the purpose of our existence?

This inherent drive is a call.

A call that must be answered.

It is the call to become Whole and complete.

Life then becomes a restless adventure—a search for all our missing pieces, that we might finally rest.

The Soul Desires Rest

The world and all its devices cater to the appetites of the body.

But they satisfy us only temporarily.

And so we end up more frustrated than before.

Peace itself becomes a marketable commodity.

Peace is bought and sold while humanity wanders, longing for true care.

We become chained to the world through the body.

Yet it is the soul that desires rest—not the body.

This inherent drive is spiritually motivated.

When the body dominates our nature, the Spirit/Breath side becomes a prisoner, held captive by the appetites of the flesh.

The soul becomes sick.

And a sick soul is in need of a physician.

The Voice of Eternal Truth

“To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice.”John 18:37

These words define His mission.

His voice—His Language—is distinguished from all other voices because it is the voice of Eternal Truth.

True riches.

Truth that is true in this world and in the world to come.

Pure Language is Living Word.

Living Word manifests order.

Living Word carries command.

“If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; and ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”John 8:31–32

Christ is the Pure Language.

Whole.

Complete.

Uncontaminated.

Eternal.

And He tells us the key to our chains.

Truth.

Truth is an immaterial force.

Truth reaches where the body cannot reach.

Truth penetrates confusion.

Truth distinguishes one voice from another.

Truth makes the captive free.

The Pure Language is the Language of Eternal Truth.
